a great way to get some ranged exp is in the lumby caves, i only ever see myself doing this, go to the giant frogs lvl 99, the are especially weak ageinst melee and range, not so much mage tho. There are two stalagmites, a clever archer can trap the frogs there, and range from the opposite side, or you can stand between them, and the frog spawn most east if attacked as soon as it appears will get stuck one space awayon the eastern stalagmite, this is also very effective with a halberd. Why these guy, the drop giant frog legs, worth 1k in the gnome tree, and nats, giant bones for prayer, and according to tip.it they can drop addy boots, worth a good 35k+, and cosmics, mith spears, and rarely bloods, in the extremely useless drops of a few coins dont happen very often with a wealth. For more info, Giant Frog just beware that they have 99 hp, so those who cant kill them amazingly fast may lose arrows, tho other ppl seem to ignore them, but u may be logged out if u have a low ranged level and use low level equipment, i suggest no less than green hides and steel arrows, and maple bow, to minimize arrows lost, useing yew with mith at lvl 45, and making sure you do something to prevent logout, or no less than an addy hally to ensure you dont waste hours uselessly.

By the way, you'd have trouble selling addy boots for 35k these days...

i dont think they are f2p, and i got that price from the forum price guide, non the less, in one trip i made 15k, and that was becouse i use torches, and carried other weapons, not bad for training rewards, that any level 40 can get. And yes, u can ranged them from across the stream, i just dont advise this as you will have to cross it alot to get rewards, risking falling into the stream.
