KingKnight1
I need something good to start merchanting on, I've only got 950k. I hope to get enough cash for a whip. Can someone give a suggestion?
Elessar3019
Cannonballs. Or try buying coal and iron at the market price, and smithing them into cannonballs and then selling. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN! Ethiery
The secret to merching is to spend less time asking people what to merch, and more time buying stuff and selling it slightly higher. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
KingKnight1
^Yeah I can do that once I know what to merch thank you very much. I want to gain atleast 40k profit from an item, so things that come into my mind are pages. Or maybe cannonballs but I'm not too sure on those. Ethiery
There's no "guide lines" for merching. Heck, even the guides are more examples of how to merch certain things. Look, let's say I merch.... Buckets, no, I don't really, but let's use them as an example. Let's say I'm making millions an hour merching buckets, why? I've managed to find something I can buy from players in amounts and sell for more due to having more. Now, I'm making this killing, and someone asks me, how do I make all this money, do I A) Tell him buckets, show hundreds of people how I make my money, and watch as there are more suppliers to compete with. Competing with suppliers usually decreases the amount each one will sell for, in an attempt to beat them to buyers. B) Not give out my secret and be rich. Look, if you want to Merch, do research. Look around at prices, pick an item, look at the amount of sellers, and ask youself, "could I buy this either really expensive thing and/or buy these from alot of people" and if you can, see if you can then turn around and sell it for more. Larger amounts = larger prices. The best place to learn to merch is simply scrolling through all the sales forums and picking up on small amount/large amount prices and deciding for yourself. -edit- P.S. To save you time, Pages are horrid to merch. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
