Could anyone reccomend a good 3D rendering program/s?

2 are bryce and terragen(i think bryce is better but you have to pay for bryce)

search for any of those. you can get most (if not all??) of them on free 30 day tutorials (maya and bryce i know for sure, dont know about 3D max, but i think so.) and terragen is free like kiyell said

i can get all, but which is the best?

maya is very difficult, in my opinion. it is very advanced and deals with splines, and splitting polygons and all the goodies, but i think it is the program that you can do the most in. however, like i said, it is very difficult. dont let me stop you from getting it though.
