Steel vs Mith

Featured Replies

I work for a smithing-company right now where I smelt 200 Mith bars and 1000 steel bars.

But now I am wondering if Mith is quicker exp than Steel. I mean, it takes more rounds, but gives more exp.

Can anyone help me with that?

Steel gives 17.5 exp/bar

Mith gives 30 exp/bar

While I haven't tested this, I think that the mith bars would be faster, because you can make 5 per trip (150 exp), instead of 9 per trip (157.5). Since you would spend half the time at the furnace (I'd estimate about 15 secs) mith should be faster. And since you are with a company, they can take care of getting the supply of ores for you, which is the hardest part (though companies can sometimes be a rip-off)

Ok, thanks. I'll sell all of my steel bars then and buy as many mith sets as possible then.

i agree that if you have the materials for mith, you are better off smelting mith
