  1. the gnomecopter cows are better than dreynor, not sure if they are still too slow. As for range I would say minotaurs in the sos until 40, then hobgoblins by crafting guild until 60 then lessers
  2. sure you could, but remember you still have to have buyers, from 1 to 99 summoning would cost 1000m, and be done in a day with my prices. But does anyone really have that much cash they are willing to burn? Im sure a few do but most don't. If someone really wants to get the next level they will buy charms, but it would be nearly impossible for 99.9% of scapers to buy 99 summoning which is why the prices need to be high or else it will become like cooking
  3. I agree with you, but this was only the start of it, like other people said people started to panick when the prices started dropping so those that planned to sell before school sold their items off at minimum price, and it just kept going downhill from there also zammy spears were being sold for 1.6 mil on forums last Tuesday, now they are down to minimum value of the ge(around 900k)
  4. we do have free trade, junk trading, I disagree with you, i think that the only way this would be possible through the ge, if jagex sets incredibly high prices per charm,60k for blue, 45k for crimson, 15k for green 12k for gold, and makes this the bottom line, sure the skill will be buyable, but it would also be byfar the most expensive skill in the game, it would cost over 1 billion gp in charms alone, which would be the only way to do it while still making it an accomplishment
  5. Really? Well what the heck happened with the AGS? Did the Bank of Varrock get robbed or something? What is a merchant, well if we ask Merriam-Webster, it says a merchant is so it was clearly not merchants who killed the price of the ags, because they themselves are taking a loss
  6. Merchants are keeping godsword rices steady, not good if you can not afford one, but good if you have one, merchants were a lot more important before the ge came out. Look at coal. Before the GE, coal was 190-200gp for the previous 2 years, and if you wanted to pay 210 ea for coal you could get 500k of it in 20 minutes. For most people time=money, sure you could sit in fally buying coal at 150ea but it would take days to buy a reasonable amount. In a current example, zammy spears cost about 1 mil each. at max price it would take around 6 hours to buy one, but what if you didnot feel like wasting those precious 6 hours when you could get one in 10 minutes via the forums, but it would cost roughly 1.4 mil. So if you made 70k an hour using your spear, you made up for your loss. sure things might be cheaper without merchants, but everything would be cheaper, therefore, it is harder to earn gp. so no merchants is not a good thing. If a godsword costs 15 mil, but you can only make 200k an hour using the fastest moneymaking methods, is runescape really different Many items used for junk trading (pouches saphire and gold rings, maple long bows) are bottomed out due to alching, if jagex drops the price, they will become alchable, therefore bought in high quantities, but demand will go up and price will go upand they will no longer be good for alching and are junk once more
  7. you can burn around 1k an hour so 68 hours
  8. try ranging hobgoblins on peninsula by crafting guild, the only bad part is you need to telegrab drops and can not pick up arrows
  9. maple longs (u) are better than willow longs because you make around 100 gp as opposed to 50
  10. bolts used to be good, not sure if they still are, you might want to try looking into them
  11. mith crossbow bolts could be smithed for a profit with blastfurnase a when the quest first came out, not sure about prices now though
  12. i like to firemake in varrock teleing to varrock and burning your way to the west bank, bank there and tele back to varrock
  13. ya earth strike is cheaper, wield an earthstaff, firestrike takes 2 airs
  14. How so? If you are going to play this game for say 20hrs a week, and make the low end figure of 60k a run, you can make upwards of 1 million dollars, while getting the exact same xp as you would otherwise. How is that a pointless skill? Apparently people have been brainwashed by the G.E. into thinking all skills need to be trained at a loss. I don't believe I said Farming was a pointless skill. I said it was a boring skill. I'm saying that other skills are pointless, hence the 's' on the end of skill in my first quote. Edit - I go to God wars for money btw, I have no need for the possible money from farming. how is farming boring, you dont have to stand around watching your plants, you plant and then leave them just wondering what is the best herb tp farm atm?
