March 30, 200719 yr I have all the requirements except the 62 fishing. I have 59 fishing at the moment and want to know, could I cook myself an admiral pie and use it's bonus to catch the monkfish during and after the quest or do I need lvl 62 fishing? March 30, 200719 yr It is possible to use potions/pies to catch the fish. I tried to do it to catch sharks, but only got one per sip. :uhh:

Im not sure how many you need to catch, but it does decrease from +5 to +4 quite quickly, so maybe take a few? Goodluck. :

All stat increments and decrements seem to operate on a counter, they all happen at the same time, so to get the most time at the highest level when using a pie, potion or ale to boost your stats you can get your health down a few points then watch for the moment that it jumps back up by one. Then you will get the full amount of time out of your potion. If you take the potion just before that moment you will find that your level drops straight away.
