Once u make your runes how do u get back to edgeville? i just gotta use glory?

Or, technically, you could find the regular altar exit, and walk back. But that's somewhat inadvisable.

Once you go throughh the abyss, you are teleported to the actual Altar you've chosen. In the case of the Nature Altar, you're in Karamja. Air Altar, south of Fally.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After crafting, you can then exit the chosen altar, through the portal as you normally would.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But if you're power-crafting using the abyss, that we be a terrible idea, as you'd have to get back to Edgeville.

Go through the Body Altar rift. It's closest to Edgeville.
