  1. How do you "un-register" from Tip.it's forums? Is it possible? Or do I have to go and get myself banned somehow?
  2. I thought about that briefly too. Not enough to quit RS, but enough to quit Tip.it, which is apparently run by 12 year-olds.
  3. I agree. I'm moving on to RSC at Zybez. I don't appreciate this "joke" at all.
  4. Apparently it's a joke. Someone at tip.it seems to think it's funny to make the rest of us look like a bunch of illiterate chat-spakers. Even if it is just for one day, I do not appreciate it, nor do I find it the least bit amusing. Later, tip.it. Time for me to find a few grown ups.
  5. I've counted up how many slots you NEED (in bold in your quote) to play this game robustly and it comes to... drumroll please... 43 And F2P has 60. That is plenty. One mage outfit, one range outfit, one melee outfit, and a combination of runes and staves to cover all spell-casting. You don't need all ores, bars, log types. You don't NEED any more than the number listed above. If you want a wide range of options and fancy clothing and other luxuries... it costs $5/month. Problem solved. You can ask the admins to close your thread.
  6. Oh, so you're already there and want to get back to Edgeville? Go through the Body Altar rift. It's closest to Edgeville.
  7. Once you go throughh the abyss, you are teleported to the actual Altar you've chosen. In the case of the Nature Altar, you're in Karamja. Air Altar, south of Fally. After crafting, you can then exit the chosen altar, through the portal as you normally would. But if you're power-crafting using the abyss, that we be a terrible idea, as you'd have to get back to Edgeville.
  8. Yes. Or, technically, you could find the regular altar exit, and walk back. But that's somewhat inadvisable.
  9. Get a bunch of the easier quests done for fast and easy XP for your new members skills. I'd recommend you start out at Lumbridge, and start "Recipe for Disaster" by talking to the Lumbridge Cook. Get that quest rolling. This is a quest with about 10 subquests that will take you a very long time (months, really) to complete. Getting it started is a good idea. Do the Goblin subquest first: very short, and it gets you 1K Farming XP right away. Saves a lot of time and hassle. While you're doing that quest (which requires you to go near the town of Taverly), might as well start "Druidic Ritual", the quest which you must do before beginning any herblore; and start and finish the Quest "Fishing Contet". Both are very simple, vital, and on your way. Once you've finished Druidic Ritual, before you go back to Lum to finish the Goblin part of the quest, do "Recruitment Drive" in Falador. Definitely use a Quest Guide for this, impossible otherwise. You get 1K Agility and Herblore XP. Great to start out. After all that is done, make your way all the way over to the Gnome Stronghold to get agility up to at least 35 or so.
  10. Haunted Mine and Fremennik Isles were the scariest for me, both requiring me to one-click tele out before eventually beating the quest. Contact! was a bit of a close third, as you can suddenly get hit for a lot of damage really fast against the boss and it's cohorts. I found Underground Pass to be the most tedious. Because when you failed an agility leap there, my God, it was like 5-10 minutes to get back to the point where you failed. And I failed a LOT. What's more, it's so far out of the way, you feel compelled to get it all done at once. There are some quests where you yell at your computer screen: this was one.
  11. I absolutely loathe agility training. We need a Sorceress's Garden for agility. Then I might get a decent level in it.
  12. Thanks for the feedback folks. I went with someone, and I that rotten bug killed me when i lagged. My companion was kind enough to risk death to get me my Veracs helm back. That dude has my trust for all time :D EDIT: But I'm going back to farming and training till I get 80 Defense. That bug is mean!
  13. Teamspeak = headsets or something? After having finally done this, yeah, it seems like a really good idea after that rotten, pms-ing cockaroach goes 20-31-24 on me and I'm suddenly out of food!
  14. OK, I've never teamed up on any big bosses, and a friend and I are going to start going after the Kalphite Queen. How do folks usually handle the treasure distribution? Is it the honor system, splitting everything? Or is a more "whoever gets it keeps it"? Obviously, in a perfect world, the honor system sounds perfect. But is that how it's done in the dog-eat-dog world of Runescape?
