Looks like it's been sorted. Just use the report button in the future, it's a red exclamation point thing in the upper right of the post. :)

i just need to know how to get him to not post in my thread, if i report it then it might get my thread locked.

If a large portion of a thread is flames, then yes, there is a good chance it will get locked. If it's a select few posts, then a moderator can just delete them if you report one of the posts (a moderator will then search through the posts in your thread and delete the one you reported and any other that are offensive, spammy, inappropriate or flammy).
