At 110 (almost 111) combat and 66 slayer should I be using chaeldar (sp?) or Duradel (sp?)

I reckon that you should be using duradel. since i got to about 104 combat I have used him all the time and it has got me to almost 82 slayer (from 78 since i started using him).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the advantages of duradel are that he gives long assignments, and generally pretty decent ones too, so you can stay on task for longer once you have found a good task to do. The disadvantages are that he doesnt assign trolls or dagannoths, which are superb xp, particularly if you like cannoning your way through tasks for faster xp. I'd recommend duradel, but its up to you.

I like Chealdar, but since I'm 99 combat I can't use Duradel (Shilo) yet. Try them both, stick to the one you like best. The never give slayer beasts beyond your slayer level!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I heard Duradel gives harder monsters, and/or greater quantities of them.

I started using Shilo, because Duradel usually gives lots of monsters for an assignment. I got 194 hell hounds for my first assignment, 186 specters for my second and 165 daggys for my third.

ew... no wonder you switched. Though I would definately try the steel and iron dragon tasks. They are short, and definately meleeable, with very good drops.
