Looking to figure out which Barrows outfit is best for me. Money is no issue at the moment. I realize Guthans has the best stats but I know Torags isnt that far behind and rather cheaper as well. Then again, the DHAxe is quite good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Considering Guthans being the strongest but about 3x the amount as Torags, which isn't as strong but extremely close, it would be economically smarter to buy Torags; or am I wrong? Then considering the massive damage DHAxe produces and still decent protection, would it be smarter to go with DH set? I'm confused on which to purchase...

Stat wise Torags defence is better than Guthan's, only Guthan's effect is far more useful for players.

 

 

 

If you prefer attack over defence than you could Dharoks I suppose.

Depends on what you are looking for:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you just want cheap defense, go with Torag (no hammers) and use a whip/d scimmy with a Rune Defender or good shield.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want high Prayer Bonus, go with Verac

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to be able to heal yourself and stay longer at training spots, get Guthan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to train Strength and get high hits, go with Dharok, but its risky as you need to be at low health to get the maximum effect from the set.

Torags is good if your not looking at what a full set effect bonus is.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guthans is great for training thanks to the full set effect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dharoks can be used for str training on ape atoll (my least favoured set) and is great if you have high attack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Veracs is good if you mage at pits/cw thanks to love negative magic attack of the brassard, plus it has a nice prayer bonus.

If you have the cash, buy guthans. :thumbsup:

Torag: The armor that have more defence, But the effect is not good

 

 

 

With torag I would use whip, full torags, rune defender

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guthan: Is for healing yourself, good for training

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dharok: Is risky because you need low health, so you might die for a lag trouble

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Verac: for piercing the defence of the enemy, mostly used on KQ\

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would buy all and use them depending on the situation

Want your prayer to last longer? get veracs. want to get 60k xp at monkeys at ape atoll? get dharoks. want something thats helpful to slayer? get guthuns. want maxium defence? get torags.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I recomend using whip and rune defender with veracs (when your not fighting KQ), guthuns (until you need to heal then switch to spear once healed switch back) and always with torags hummer are a bit rubbish.
