Fire_Flame01 Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 My Blog Hello there, my name RSN is Fire_Flame01. Id like to just start off by saying thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy. I have a goal to get as much money as I possibly can within the next 2 weeks (Heck YES! ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ I LOVE school holidays). But by the end of next week I will be back at school. When school is on, I have next to no time to play. This last term of school (term 1) I did not log in once it was that hectic, well that and I felt the need that school was more important as it is my final year. My goal is to buy 2 wearable rares (Santa hat or Green mask) if all goes to plan. I have got the funds right now to buy 1 and saving money to get my self enough for a second Santa hat or Green mask but I am waiting at the end of next week to see which to buy. Thanks for reading on so far. Well, with all this in mind, I thought what I could do that is fun and has the potential to produce a lot of money. Runecrafting natures?... No because I did that last holidays, plus its really really boring. Fishing sharks, cutting magic trees? No, not fun plus I only have 2 weeks and then its another 10 weeks before I can play again. I began to look in my bank and there it was, 100 prayer pots and 500 sharks (roughly). Bingo. Barrows baby! So, this brings me to where I am right now. In this blog I will be posting up pictures of the trips I go on and other interesting things I find along the way. I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t had very good luck with barrows yet, but hopefully that can be changed. ________________________________________________________________________ Info about how I got into Barrows I started barrows about 4 months ago (just before Christmas), I went about 5 times before I got my first drop which happened to be a Guthan Spear. I was so shocked. This spear then paid for my supplies such as full Torags, full Ahrim and a whip for me to continue on. Then all my luck dropped, getting an Ahrim staff, Karils skirt, ripped off. It picked up again, well sort of, to get Dharoks legs. Then it ended with a long dry streak of nothing but a few half keys. I decided to sell up all my things, and in the process of barrows I had actually made myself a nice little profit. I then went back to school and then eventually came back to holidays, where I am right now. I have had little bits of luck since I have come back. Over the past two days I have received a Dragon med, a Guthan skirt and a Dharok helmet, pretty good. Everything until now has not been documented In picture format so you can either believe it or not. From now on every trip I take I will be taking a screen shot of all things I collect along the way. ________________________________________________________________________ What I wear to barrows This is what I wear to barrows, my inventory and what the stat bonuses of what wear is. incase your wondering, the black spot on the picture is for privacy issues. Two randoms were talking so i blocked it out for them. _______________________________________________________________________ My Stats These are my stats My Level Ups Magic: _______________________________________________________________________ My Bank IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m one step ahead of you guys in so far as I thought I should post my bank before I get asked to This bank picture was taken after I have started my barrows runs, so what I decided to do was to take out all the things I have gotten from barrows, to show my bank before I started. At the end of these two weeks I will show you my bank once again. Hopefully it will be filled to the top with barrows loot. Oh if you think thatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s messyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ you should see my room! :o! ________________________________________________________________________ My Strategy for barrows My Strategy for barrows is this. I kill in this order: -Dharok -Karil -Ahrim -Verac -Torag -Guthan I Pray on all six brothers. I know itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a waste but I get smacked around by Torag and Guthan very badly if I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t. I should buy better equipment, but not for the moment. After I have gone to the chest 3 times, while im in the chest room, I then teleport with the home spell to Lumbridge. It is there that I then pray at the church alter just outside the courtyard. I then Ecto teleport to the Ecto and then walk to the Canifis bank where I restock my supplies. I then go down behind the pub, underground, cross the tree bridge, hop on the boat and arrive at barrows. I generally get a Kill count of about 15 ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ 20, depends how many blood worms and crypt rats (lvl 43) I come across. If I get either of the 4 melee brothers down in the tunnel I do not pray on them. I use the many safespots down there to help with them. If you cannot tell from the shot of what I wear I use Slayer Dart, which is a magic attack, against almost all of them with the exclusion being using range on Ahrim. However, I sometimes melee Karil. My magic attacks donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t seem to hit Karil all to well so if im fearful of not having enough runes ill just use my whip. ________________________________________________________________________ My Barrows Trips I may post little comments or little things about the trip that was interesting about it, but I wont go into too much detail. Please note that each screenshot has been taken after the 3 visits to the chest. These drops have been from Wednesday, the 4th of April to as of now. I will be updating these every trip. Id like to make it so that all the pictures are taken on top of the mounds, so that the backdrop is always at barrows to remind me of the good time. Thank you KingB1ast, i do alright i guess... its just soooo messy... i want to get in there and clean it up really well... i just dont know where to start, and then i dont want to chuck something out that ill need the next day.
