April 5, 200719 yr Hello all, I want to do barrows, but since its gonna be my first run i need some advice. This are my stats: Do you think i need to level up some more? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Scampioen
April 5, 200719 yr I really think you're gonna wanna level up more for it. Prayer is fine, melee.... kinda low, but doable. Ahrim is gonna paddle ya, sorry, but you can't out mage him, you're gonna have a horrid time meleeing him, your best shot would be range, and even then, less than 70 is huge pain. Also, since your stats are that low, you don't have any chance of "no praying" it, I don't see you ancienting very successfully, so well, you'll be drinking prayer pots like beer at a frat party. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
April 5, 200719 yr With those stats, barrows will only be for fun, not for a profit. I seriously advice you to train mage to 60+ and range to at least 70. Defence could do with a higher lvl. If you insist on doing it, you will have to pray on all brothers. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
April 5, 200719 yr Just use your best spell and either mystic robes or monk robes, and prayer on all brothers. As Freesia said, it will only be for a laugh not profit, unless you get a barrows item which is a 1 in 10 chance. Off topic: I just got dh legs at barrows
April 5, 200719 yr Ideal for barrows would be: 70+ range - by far the best way to take on ahrim, although you will survive decently with it in the 60s 70+ defence - if you wear rune armor while maging torag & guthan, you don't need to pray 60+ magic - you only need 50 for slayer dart, but you will probably miss a lot 55+ slayer - required for slayer dart
April 5, 200719 yr Author ok thanks alot, this will surely help. gonna train my mage and ranged soon.
