Which sig is better?

2 versions of the same thing, I want to know what one looks better.

Also if you like the full color samus in one sig but prefer the siloete in the other pic say so, it's easy for me to combine them.

 

 

 

Also should I make the 2 background images more transparent so you can see the real background. Look to the veary right of the sig to get an idea what the background looks like.

 

 

 

EDIT: I'm going to post my origanal version, so you can see what the background is and advise me to make the background faces more transparent or leave them the way they are.

You have a point. I like the samus in the second one more myself but she does fit in better in the first one. The way she stands out in the second one is a problem, and puting it under a goast image is a solution. I'll check back in the morning, hopefully get more feedback, else i'll switch back to the first sig I suppose.

first one is better, but i think the left samus looks like hes behind a smoke cloud make him be less grey-ish and the font could be a more matching one

I dont understand tyhe question. The render is the colour samus and the silouette. For now I am going to use the first one.

he means that the "render" still has an background and it looks like you just pasted it over with the background :?

Ok theres the render, the render silouette. For the background, there is one but its hard to see, it's just a sort of texture, then there are 2 semi transparent face pictures, both are over the background and the one on the left is over the full sig one. Anywho I have decided to tweak it again yo version 3 which is what will appear as my sig about a minute after posting this. If you really hate what i've done, please tell me. (its basicly, I made the background face more transparent, gave the silouette a glow, britens the image without ruining the blending)

* cut out the render of the background, if u can do that yourself just pm me the whole thing and ill try :wink:

 

* Blend the picture more with the background, for an tutorial how to do that please go to this site and search there for a photoshop render blending tutorial or something like that :P

 

* ok so since i dont know what program ur using just use another font and blend the text more with the background and plac it somewhere else.

 

* dont use and gradient on that copy of samus, because that looks realy bad and rare :wink:

When you say render are you talking about the ghost image with the cyan visor?

 

 

 

That background image is doing all the blending atm.

 

 

 

I am using photoshop 7.0 and I find the text unreadable if Idont keep it ontop of everything. And I do agree with you on the gradient, it dosent look right. version 4 here I come.

 

 

 

Well this might be an improvment, I havent decided.
