April 7, 200719 yr Ok coming from someone thats experienced at cartoon sigs (dont look at my sig I've been too lazy to change it) its ok for a first. You need a light source first off and I reccomend making the character look happy. also some shading is needed. here have a look at one i made for somebody Its not my best I know but its got shadows and its got 2 light sources.
