April 6, 200719 yr Well, I heard that even if you have a +2 tea shelf, you still can get +3 tea (this is all in regard to construction if you are lost btw) if you get a butler. You can make tea that raises your Construction 1-3 levels temporarily. You will need a larder, shelves, a sink (such as level 7 pump and drain), and a stove (at least a level 11 firepit with hook). Fill the kettle with water and put it on the fire to boil. Put the tea leaves in the teapot. When you see the message that the kettle has boiled, take it off the stove. Pour boiling water from the kettle into the teapot (makes four servings). Pour it into cups. Add milk if desired. Wood shelves 1 and 2 and oak shelves 1 offer a plain tan-coloured cup and teapot, making tea that only raises construction by 1 level. Using nicer porcelain cups and teapots from wood shelves 3, oak shelves 2 and teak shelves 1 will help the tea raise your construction by 2 levels. A gold-trimmed cup and teapot from teak shelves 2 will temporarily raise construction by 3 levels. If you have a butler (minimum level 40 to hire), he can serve you +3 tea if you have teak shelves 1. When I asked him to make tea, I got the same lame +2 tea as ever. What do I do to get +3 tea? Also, does serving tea count as a chore for which he charges you? Thanks
April 6, 200719 yr This has been updated. To get the +3 you have to have the expensive Teak shelves. Dragon Drops - 10 Meds, 9 Legs, 5 Skirts, 2 Left HalfPM me to have any potions made or crafting done
April 6, 200719 yr Yea the ability to get +3 teas with the lower shelves apparently was a bug. But since no one knew they weren't supposed to be that way (it's not mentioned in the KB), never reported it. When the Eyes of Glourphie(sp) quest came out, something in the code worked itself out, and it started working the way Jagex meant it too. Might want to repost about this in the Website Updates and Corrections forum. Since the guide hasn't been updated since, the Crew may not have realized that it's still saying the old way. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
April 7, 200719 yr I just went through my house destroying stuff and then he gave me +2 tea so i wasted my time rebuilding all the stuff. I hope they change the guide soon.
