Hey guys, I'm not much a network engineer and you guys probably aren't either, lol, but it doesn't hurt to try and ask.

 

 

 

Anyways, I got the new demo Dawn of Magic and I want to play Via IP with my friend.

 

 

 

Well I hosted a game, gave him my IP and Port and he couldn't connect.. so he gave me his IP and port and I couldn't connect to him.

 

 

 

Whats the deal? Both our firewalls, as far as we know are disabled.. and I have a DSL connection..

 

 

 

Why can't we connect via IP?

I don't know much about the game for conections but are you connected through a router? Might wanna check settings there.
