Error after log in.

Ok, when I log in, straight after it says 'Welcome, Loading you personal settings' this error message pops up. Nothing else loads except for the desktop backgound.

 

 

I don't know what it is and it happens to all users on the computer. After I click OK or close it, everything goes to normal and it loads the icons on the desktop and the icons in the notification area.

 

 

 

Please help if you can.

It's the remains of some malware.....It should be in one of your start-up registration entries.

 

 

 

Look at Msconfig and see if you can find it and disable it. Should be just an orphaned entry.

Edit: If you were talking about going to run and typing msconfig I just tried that and clicked on find and couldn't find the thing.

after typing msconfig, click on the startup tab

Ok, is it the RUNDLL32 thing? Because that seems to be the only thing that looks the same as the error message.

I would just run CCleaner and scan for issues.

 

It will get rid of any old/unused start-up junk.

 

Although using msconfig will work just as well.
