Grow your own herbs. Or kill monsters that drop herbs. Then collect the second ingridents yourself.

Killing chaos druids for the herbs: the best spot (if you have the agilty or 82 thieving) is the chaos druids in the agilty dungeon in Yanille.

Also: take the unidentiefieds in your bank.

Once you are level 37 herblore, if you use greenman's ale untill you have 38, prayer potions are good:

you can grow your own ranarrs, or buy them from other players, and get free snape grass from the respawn point at the hobgoblin place near the crafting guild.

you can make a bit of profit of it, or just play even if you want faster experience.

If you did shade of Mort'ton: serum 207. Its tarromin + ashes. With the potion, cure afflicted ppl in mort'ton and get herbs, vials and log in return. Quite effective (cost) but not very fast. I more effective when you have access to the bank in Burgh the Rott.
