Reporting System

Ok, I have been thinking bout the whole runescape reporting system and on many occassions it annoys me. I say this because, have you ever seen someone break a rule? Then 5 seconds later another player breaks a rule? I think instead of a 60 second wait between each report, that should only apply if you are reporting the same person.

 

 

 

EX. A player swears on runescape, and you report them, but another player trys to scam you or says stuff like "Jagex blocks your password ********" then you have to wait 60 seconds to report them, but in the 60 seconds you wait then they get away with the crime the committed.

 

 

 

So, as i mentioned it should be made to where you report one person and wait 60 seconds to report that same person, but if you report one person and see more offenses occuring then you can report others without a 60 second wait. Only a 60 second wait to a person you just reported

I feel this could be abused, those who hate jagex or want to hurt the abuse system could just start reporting any one in game.

 

 

 

a better aproach would be to increase the snap shot time to say one miniute and 30 seconds. that way you can catch them. of course this would greatly increase the file size of a report.

Just allow right-click reporting.

I do agree, someone may try to abuse it, but you also gotta remember that i believe they can be banned themselves for abusing the system. and right click would be easier (toxic) as well. As you suggested to (bufoman), that a minute and a half or 2minutes, b/c i have seen such actions happen beofre, with a report. When i report, someone breaks a rule even wrose an escapes punishment.
