KBD - advice for first trip

Here we go; me and a friend are talking about doing a KBD trip and I wanted some advice before taking it on.

 

 

 

Both of us are 92 cb with stats of: 74 all melee, 76 hp, 70 range and 73/74 mage.

 

 

 

Basically I'm looking for advice on: inv, equip, tactics and general "will we dieness"; all help and hints welcomed!

 

 

 

also big question - you can tele out of his lair right :ohnoes:

You CAN tele out, as for advice, i have none, my only trip was with my clan.

His lair is non wildy.

 

 

 

Go by using the canoe east of edgeville. Just bring an axe and you are only a short walk away from his lair. (lvl 42 wilderness instantly or something)

 

 

 

Use melee prayer. And D hide armour. This because his melee attack will own the crap out of you. And the rest of his attacks are magic, which are a lot weaker.

 

 

 

Dont forget your anti dragon breath shield. Bring a super set + super anti poison + anti D fire potion (saves a lot of damage!) And monkfish should be enough. A dds + whip/scimi will do miracles on that thing.

 

 

 

Anything I have forgotten?.. If you have enough food left, which you 2 will have. Use the lever back, climb the stairs, walk to the chaos altar just a little west of it. And then go back. Saves you prayer potions. I can solo it at lvl 90 combat. So 2 of you can easily make several kills without leaving the place.

yea, you should do fine -- i love KBDing with a level 90 i know :D (im combat 94) and we get about 6-9 KBDs in 1 run

i solo th kbd so it shouldnt b to hard and yes you can telle out

really easy, in one trip with my clan,( like 5 ppl came) we killed it 10 time....bring tele's, and 3 item or 4 item your first time, then you will feel confident enough and can take it down5,10, even 15 times a trip.

Wear; Warrior Helm, Rune Plate, Rune Legs, Any cape but god is good for prayer bonus, anti d shield, d scim/whip, climbing boots, best rfd gloves, recoil/ ring of life, glory.

 

 

 

In your invent take; 1 super set, 2 anti poisons, a 1 click tele, couple of pray pots, rest sharks, don't pray apart from str and attack and you should be fine
