Earlier Sunday morning, relief pitcher for the STL Cardinals died in a car crash.

Now, i know a lot of people don't pay any attention to baseball, but this is still a tragedy for the Cardinals, every fan of them and the city of St. Louis. He pitched in the most recent winning world series for the Cards, and had his last game yesterday afternoon.

This is even more tragic for the Cardinals, as only 5 years ago (or less i think), pitcher Darryl Kile died.

Just wanted to point that out, its pretty sad that this had to happen again.

Yeah, the Cardinals are getting the shortest end of every stick, it seems.

I hope his family is okay.

They won the World Series last year, that's not exactly the 'short-end' of things. :?

On topic: Sad to hear that something terrible happened to another young athelete. St. Louis is a great baseball city, I'm sure nearly the entire city is moruning the loss.

I meant every personal stick. They've lost two pitchers in a few years, and that's just not cool.
