Simply put...

You are given an interface where you can add money to your kingdom (up to 7.5m). The amount of money you have here will effect the amount your subject collect.

The interface allows you to manage how many workers you want on each task.

The only other factor is your favour. You should maintain this as close to 100% as possible by performing simple tasks within the kingdom.

You can collect the takings once every 24 hours.

Basically with the money put in (They take a max of 75k out each day and only if you have more than 750k in there) Then they use that money to buy their own stuff. Like your own squad of little Merchanters! Then you go collect the stuff after time :D
