Oh, MAN! I can't WAIT!!!!

 

 

 

This is my favourite book EVER. Read it twenty-odd times, no exaggerating, and it never gets old for me. If the movie follows the book well (unlike Harry Potter - damn them!), it will be awesome. I agree that you need to show key parts of ES as well as EG to get the full story, especially the handpicked army part. Bean does so much for the army that isn't recognized in EG. A possibility would be to make a two-movie seres out of those books, but combine them, so you get the first half of both books in the first movie, etc. It would help them be able to get in the full story, which is completely necessary. You can't cut out much.

 

 

 

Can't wait to see the mind-game bits, it'll be interesting how they get that in. Some of the parts with desks will be interesting as well, seeing how they get future tech in there. I'm waiting with bated breath. Anyone have an idea of when it's gonna come out?
