what is the differense between long and short bows? I know short bows shoot faster, but long bow must attack higher, or there would be no point in it. should I use mage short bow to train or mage long bow ot train, both with iron arrows, or should I use iron knifes?

I would use iron knives, especially if you are making them on your own. But mage short if you are using arrows is better for training.

i think the long bow just has a much longer range of shooting compared to the shortbow's speed other then that there attack bonuses are the same i am pretty sure i will check for you....

 

 

 

 

 

edit: yes that is correct the only difference is the speed and range... longbow has a greater range to shoot... but the shortbow is faster and better for close range targets.

Go for shortbow all the way. As people here said, shortbow is faster, while longbow has more range. Since range doesn't matter much unless in certain situations, I say go for a shortbow.

You are right. There's no point in using a longbow, other than a larger range. It hits the same, and is slower than a shortbow.

longbow is really only for pking, when you have long and short and when person starts running away, you switch to long, because you can keep hitting them for longer.
