And if you don't want to spend money you can kill your own dragons, kill ghasts which give 30 prayer xp every time you kill one, or do the Shades burning at Mort'ton. You can even make a profit from shade burining. There are other stuff that gives prayer xp but those are the most efficient if you don't want to spend money. Over-busy giants may be slower xp than level 1 and 2 easy and plentiful kills.
