Alright, I've got a slight problem. Whenever I'm playing a game, my window will randomly minimize to the desktop. All I need to do is click the task on the taskbar to maximize it again, but it gets fairly annoying when I'm playing something and it justs minimizes out of nowhere. Any thoughts?

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Either you keep pressing the windows key or another program that is maybe running in the backround is taking focus.

Try running a few anti-adware scans. And maybe get a hijackthis log here so someone that's not me can see if there's anything dodgy running.
