Chounin
I finally finished my animated sig, and when i chose "save optimized as" and saved it as a .gif, the file size turned out to be 35kb. How would I minimize the file size without losing too much in size and resolution?
ColAvanor
Use the color amount and lossyness sliders. They are located somewhere around the Image Ready interface.

Jaguar_Kings
You using Photoshop 7/CS? If so, File > "Save For Web" > JPEG and Lower some quality, make the filesize 28k-29k because it's some higher on the web.
Chounin
If i have text animation, can I still save it as a jpg? I'm not really sure, this is the first time I've done any kind of animation and I noticed that all sigs with animation were gifs

ColAvanor
I'd post a screen shot if my host wasn't down... Make sure in the upper menues that "window > optimize" in ticked. There should be a window..similar to the layers window..somewhere on your screen named "optimize". It should have info of the format and other issues. Select format gif. Now play with the lossyness and color amount to gain the best result that fits the size. You can click the "preview in browser" button (located at the bottom of the tool palette) to see how much it will take space when saved as optimized. Clear now?
