sorry for the noob question , but I'm getting my stats right to figure out the exact str lvl I need for my pure, so can you wear gloves and boots, and also what are the best gloves and boots to wear w/ 70 def? and what's their str bonus.

boots= rune boots

I was looking at barrows gloves and they say you have to do RFD, I don't see this happening anytime soon, but the rune gloves don't mention having to finish the quest or even starting it, so could I buy rune gloves instead?

You have to do all but 1 subquest for rune gloves. The quest is really worth it, but if you dont do it get [bleep]y black vambs

It's just I'm going to have 1 magic/range/prayer so I'm not sure if I could do the quests even if I wanted to.
