So here's the problem: I went to the dungeon on the north coast of mainland Karamja and killed Jogres to get enough trading sticks to enter the grove with the mahogany and teak trees. Then it wouldn't let me cut them down because I "hadn't acquired enough favour with the locals" or something like that.

 

 

 

So now my question is: how can I gain favour without doing the Cleanup minigame. I despise that minigame and refuse to do it, but I need the logs for construction. I've read that you can get trading sticks by selling gems to the general store; does that get me favour too? Or is the minigame the only way to gain favour with the villagers?

You can only gain favour by doing the mini game.

 

 

 

Just cut some dense jungle and kill anything that spawns and fix the fence its easy and simple and you might find its fun \

well.....if you dont like the woodcutting part then just kill tribesmen inside the village. they will still give favour, 1 or 2 points per tribesman killed.

 

PS:careful they have poisoned spears.

All right, I guess I'll give in and actually chop the jungle. Although I still refuse to fight the Broodoo victims. Oh, one more thing: does anyone know how much favour I need in order to chop wood there?
