slickmovedud
Welcome to my Guide on F2P Combat! To start off I have 2 accounts. One is called slickmovedud, and I just got back my other coaster156. This guide requires you to have full rune, a pretty decent combat level based on melee (around 50), a high fishing to catch fish(lobster and below), and runes. Your stats should be about 50-55 attack, 50-55 strength and whatever defence you want as long as it is over 40 for full rune and stronghold of security boots.. Oh and at least 25 magic. 1st rule is to Always Bring teleport Runes! Attack and Strength levels from 50-60 To start grab your teleport Varrock runes(1 law rune, 3 airs, and 1 fire) in the Varrock east bank. You may also want some food. Look at this picture for my inventories(don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t take lobsters, they take way too long to catch for decent training) :D Bring full rune or just look at this picture to see what I bring. Next you go to the Varrock sewers and you follow this map to the deadly red spiders. Oh and bring a knife if you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re not sure you can slash through a web with the weapon you have with you. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=varrock_sewer.htm The spiders will attack you automatically so all you have to do is watch your health and keep it above 10 or so, so you don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t die. If you want you can make some money by grabbing the red spider egg respawn there. They will sell for about 500 each if you can find a buyer. Now say you get bored of looking at you character fighting deadly red spiders? What do you do? Well simply go a bit north and fight some moss giants. But don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get addicted to them or else you won̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get very much experience. Or go on the tip it forums and check up on your character every minute or so. I would go with the 2nd one. Continue until level 60 strength and 60 attack, or just keep training there. Looking for some good drops? Well in that case go train on moss giants on crandor island. If you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get onto crandor island simply do dragons layer. The guide can be found here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=21. Simply fish lobsters instead of salmon and trout. Levels 60-75 Lets get started by bringing the same armour as before but a different inventory. Sorry to say but I couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get a screenshot of the inventory but I will soon. So first it has to have 30gp! Now if you want to bring a fire staff and about 30 nature runes for high/low alchemy. Bring a lobster pot, or harpoon for fish, if you wish a iron or steel axe (not rune because say you die?). Oh yeah and Teleport Runes! Can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t forget them. Try to bring teleport to teleport when you are done and don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t feel like walking back or if you are close to dieing. Whatever you do don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t hesitate using it! I once did and lost a bunch of armour. Here is a map of Crandor island. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... r_isle.htm So keep training at the moss giants until you are level 75 attack and Strength. By now I would suggest to go and train a non-combat stat like mining or something for a break. I would also suggest getting your defence to about 60 but that is completely up to you to deicide. If you get bored go and train on ice giants which I will describe to you in the next section(75-90). Levels 75-90 If you get this far you are awesome! So for this part you need to know where ice giants are. Well look at this map and find out! This is the map of the inside of the cave: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... _caves.htm Well go to Karajama with the same things as last time but instead of 30gp, 60gp. Get a inventory full of lobsters. Follow my map to the ice caves, and then train there for as long as needed, or until 90 attack and strength. By the way the ice warriors can be really annoying. I mean really! Oh and by the way you may want to rain your defence a bit more(range of my suggested defence levels=70-90). If you get bored of the ice giants and ice warriors, try lesser demons(I will explain in ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅLevel 90-99 The Final Steps!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâà

Lord Diddy
this will take money!! and months.. pc is better. Im guessing you just looked at the word Combat in this entire thread of words, and you forgot to read the the letters F2P. For a guide ill give it a 6/10, this is common knowlage and we already have some pretty nice F2p Combat/Range guides. Good try though.

Zaaps1
This is lacking safespots for mage and range, also your missing calculations for the exp you can gain. Although the methods you stated are good, there are better ones. for example, for mage, Crumble Undead should only be if your rich and need the levels quick. fire strike is much better, and curse is your cheapest option. They are all very good. I know you said the mage section will be updated soon, but I thought you might want to know. There are many things to take into consideration while training: money, time, time need to restock on food and supplies, alternative methods, and how to beat the boringness. You should work on this a bit more, but it's turning out good. 6/10 ~It's Super Effective!
