haunted mine help

i need sum help on beating the ghost for the haunted mine quest cause it seems like i get him down to low health and he does sumthing that gets me killed plz i need help badd.

I tried to do this quest, and gave up after four attempts.

 

 

 

Then, three months later, I went back with a dragon mace and whip, and killing him in five hits.

 

 

 

He can get really lucky and smash you with a cart like a dozen times in a row.

 

 

 

DDS specs do not work on him, only the first hits; for this reason I chose the dragon mace, to try to land a few high hits, since I wouldn't be worried about the hit rate. A good secondary weapon would be something that hits high and accurately, but is very slow. Since you run around between hits, the slowness doesn't matter. An anchor, great axe, etc.

Get a heavy-hit weapon, some speed-boost armour (spotted/spottier cape, boots of Lightness or Penance Gloves) and a massive load of food. You could also try to one-hit-pray (initiate Incredible Reflexes and the same strength just before the attack) to max hits.
