Do you need to complete the whole quest to actually use the barrelchest anchor because i was reading that it is broken and you have to give to the pirate smith for him to fix it which you need a piracy book to understand him. That is a reward from another quest so is it possible to get the anchor without....you know completing the quest?

I havnt got it yet, thats the thing if i do all the quests i get 53 prayer. I heard taht you dont need to finish the quest to get the barrelchest anchor.

Well, you get the Anchor in the last 45 seks of the Quest. Then you just click something and go to Brother Tranquility for reward. But it should be potensially possible to get the anchor, flee the island without getting the rest of the rewards and then go have it fixed.

 

 

 

Now for the other question. To get to the smith, you need the book, which you get from a quest. BUT you can't start The Great Brain Robbery (Barrelchest Anchor-quest) without having done that quest! Because the quest in question (lol) is Cabin Fever and when you do Cabin Fever, you get two rewards: Access to Mos'le Harmless and Book of Piracy. And the startpoint for The Great Brain Robbery is ON Mos'le Harmless! So is the smith!

 

 

 

So yes, you need to do Cabin Fever to do Great Brain Robbery.

So it is actually possible to leave the island before finishing the quest...thats good.
