which is better a mage pure or a range pure i have been thinking of making a range pure and ihave a mage pure but my mage isnt all that good so is a range pure and good?

For pking & staking i'd recommend mage, but nothing specific for any other tasks.

like he said it's wat u really wana do, if i were u just be both but make it ether ranged based or mage based, thats not a bad conbination, but i my am a range pure and ive made mills staking and pking in my option all pures are good it's just the players that need to make em work

I'll show a comparison between F2P and P2P Pure Range and Mage pking, maybe it'll help you decide...

 

 

 

Mage Pure-For A Pking Session F2P (Assuming they're 59+ mage):

 

-1klobs=200k

 

-1kdeaths=300k

 

-4k airs=60k

 

-Fire Staff-1k

 

-100 Law Runes(Optional)-30k

 

-Mage Ammy,Robes etc.-Around 2k

 

Total=593k

 

 

 

Range Pure-For A Pking Session F2P (assuming they're 40+ range):

 

-1k lobs=200k

 

-1k addies=150k

 

-100 Law runes(optional)=30k

 

-F2P Pure ranger set(include power ammy)=12k

 

Total=392k

 

 

 

Difference=201k

 

 

 

So for F2P pking your spending 201k more on Pure Mages than Pure Rangers.

 

 

 

Now lets observe P2P, this should be interesting...

 

 

 

Mage Pure Pking P2P (assuming they're 94+ mage):

 

-1k Sharks=850k(finally back to their original price :D)

 

-4k deaths=1.2mil

 

-2k bloods=1mil

 

-6k waters(don't include this if you use water staff)=120k

 

-Ghost Robes (assuming you stayed 1 def...)=Nothing :)

 

-Glory ammy(uncharged)=50k

 

Total=3.22mil(without water staff) vs 3.10m (with water staff)

 

 

 

Pure Range Pking P2P (assuming they're 70+ range)

 

-1k Sharks=850k

 

-1k rune arrows=500k

 

-Black chaps and vambs=16k

 

-Glory ammy(uncharged)=50k

 

-100 range pots=500k

 

Total=1.916mil

 

 

 

Difference=1.304mil

 

 

 

So for P2P you're spending 1.304mil more on your Pure Mage than you could have spent on your pure ranger.

 

 

 

That's pretty much it, please notice that I assumed both pures wouldn't have pray except for the mage who would have 11 from doing Priest Peril, and forgive me if my prices aren't correct or if I missed a feq pieces of equipment, but overall you're overspending on pure mages.

 

 

 

Personally I say go with Pure Range, but if you want to be different, Pure Mage all the way.
