well i have recently started a pure account and have virtually no money can anyone give me some suggestions for getting to 60 mage quickly and sorta cheap.

well there no quick way to it, it has the same exp goal as every other 60 stat. from lv3 i'd use confuse i think its called with armor on so you get exp for casting even though it failed and bodys are fairly cheap. then when u get the level for cammy tele till 60. i did that from lv 11 after getting 81 combat before realising i shouldnt be melee only.

Well, the standard way to do cost effective leveling is to cast failed Body rune based spells.

 

 

 

That's the Weaken, Confuse, and Curse line.

 

You will always earn full magic exp per cast even if you fail or "splash"

 

Use the Confuse and Weaken spells until you can do Curse.

 

 

 

If you are willing to spend more money then you can do other spells

 

(tele) but start with failed Curse.

IIRC, you can cast a Curse spell for about 45 gp each.

 

You can look here to find rune buyers and sellers.

 

 

 

Also, the Varrock and Port Sarim magic stores typically have thousands

 

of these runes in stock. World hop to keep the price down.

 

Or, just make the runes yourself.

 

 

 

Also, use an Earth staff to lower costs.

The cheapest way would be train mage and runecrafting together, using the runes you make to train mage.

 

Other then that merchanting until you get enough money, then buying minds, fires and a air staff is a great and cheap spell, so is curse.
