June 4, 200719 yr well, i tried to log on to the forums using the new login feature but it won't load. It takes ages and i just give up. can anyone help me with this problem and maybe tell me how i can login to the forums? Yeah, well. Definately not me! LOL!
June 4, 200719 yr Is your cpu dual core, or does it have multiple processors? I run into this a lot - if you do, make sure you set whatever application is opening to have affinity to just one cpu. To do this, go to your Task Manager (ctrl + shift + esc works on most WinXP machines.) On the Processes tab of the Task Manager, right-click the process you want to assign, click Set Affinity, and ensure only one processor is selected. June 4, 200719 yr You can log into the forum using the old login page. They currently link to it from the message center login but not the forums for some reason. Just takes a little URL tweaking to get to it tho. I suggest you bookmark the above link until they either add the link to the login page, or the new login applet start working for you. :mrgreen: Edit: Looking at the page again, the old login method is linked from the login page. If you do not see a line that says "If you only see a large grey or white box below, click here." above the new login box, try hitting F5 to force a complete reload of the page. Hopefully it will show up again.
