F2p mage/range

Featured Replies

I was thinking about starting a f2p mage with defence. Is that a good idea? Should i also train range?

Ill probably get a lot of free mind runes from the instructor or something and then splash curse. After that, should i high alch or teleport? If i high alch, what should i do it on? Also, should i train prayer? I might end up training other non combat skills if it has any hope of becoming a member someday.

There is no point in having defence on a pure mage in F2p, as there are no armour requirements for the mage robes.

By full dragon, i meant just for looks.

defence wont help it?

mage has no need for def or pray, u pay think protect prayers are helpful but its not worth the extr lvls itll bring u

and since mage sucks after 60, definitely get ur range up, def may be a bit more helpful for range at higher lvls like 60+ range
