Secondly, shouldn't the dagger handle be a different colour then the dagger itself? The poison looks really nice though :)

Looks alot better, your next goal should be texture. You could work more on individual strands for the hair and plume, and maybe having a better texture on the leather boots. I think you could lose the bevel on the knife, a small well done highlight would be fine. Take a look at a dagger or something with a similar light source and just copy where you see the highlight. Also, I'd add some noise to the skin, it's almost too smooth.

Well I will have tons more time to do it now as I finally quit rs. That dagger though is driving me nutty! Skin..actually I made version with super smooth shading transitions (Just got corel painter, and it OWNS!) and might use it...looked pretty good...although it is the opposite of what you said haha.

AS for a different color....well one could certainly do that but generally at least a tang of the original metal is present....I will consider that option.

If you resize it just abit it makes it way less blurry. On my 1024x768 it looks too blurry the main version. I reisized it abit and it looks perfect. Nice work.

hehe you should have seen the old version, far more blurry....but new works should get over that a bit as I am hardening up the brushes.

A red handle on the dagger looks weird... way too weird! i kept focusing on that flaw fix it please yay! :D
