lvl 702 jad

i attempted fight cave last week and i finished all the waves before jad... then it tells me that jad is coming so i put on protection from ranged and waited at north of italy.

 

 

 

Now i ve read in some guides that jad's ranged attack doesnt have any sound from a distance and his magic does...OK.

 

 

 

while i wait for jad to appear i heard a sound so i imediately switched to mage protection (remember jad isnt in my sight yet)... but the rocks keep falling and i got owned.

 

 

 

1.what did i do wrong??

 

2.what does his mage attack sound like?

 

3. what does his ranged attack sound like?

Okay, The guides say the Ranged attack is silent, They're only half right, Because the range attack makes a noise, But only when it hits you. The mage attack sort of sounds like a K-Boom, Then it'll hit a second or two afterwards, It's always best to start off with range prayer so aslong as you dont hear a Kboom, Keep range prayer on, Good luck with getting the firecape - The most sought-after cape in the game! :)

What devils said, the range attack does make a sound, but only when it actually hits you, and the mage attack makes a Ka-boom like noise when its fired, start off with range prayer and alternate between the two when you know each attack is coming
