Looking for a Low End laptop

Featured Replies

For college I'm primarily getting a desktop, but friends and my parents convinced me to get some sort of laptop. I'm just looking for teh cheapest thing out there really and so far Dell is the winner at $549, but that is still a bit high. Are there any places where there are cheaper laptops? (I want to get one new and not off of ebay)

I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

What would you exactly do with the laptop if it's low end?

Go on the internet, type school papers, play runescape

but that is the best deal out there. If you really looked you might be able to find a laptop from some no name brand for like 50$ cheaper, but dell is a good brand and their computers are fairly reliable, so I would go with that.

Edit: Meant to make a new thread.

Try eshops that are not like shopping in a massive yard-sale.

I think buy.com would be a great place to look
