Well, last night when I turned on the computer and I went on the internet, on google I tried typing "F" but instead a box saying "find" would come up, the Q would close the window!

So I left it alone for about 30 minutes, I came back and it was perfectly fine!! Same thing with this morning, turned on the computer, keyboard wouldnt work, left it alone, then it worked!!

I did spill a little milk on it, but should I clean my keyboard to fix this or is it some other problem??

EDIT: and also the scrolly thingy on the mouse (I'm not tech savvy) instead of it scrolling up and down the page it would zoom in and out.

Sounds like the CTRL key is stuck (or gummed up) - the mouse wheel thing is a dead giveaway, as CTRL + wheel is a shortcut to varying the text size.

There is an urban legend about cleaning a keyboard in the shower - first, I'd try just working the keys with the keyboard tipped upside-down and hope the grot clears itself.

If it's kill or cure, might as well give it a bath or shower, a good shake dry, and then a hairdryer (not too hot). Be aware that such treatment could either fix it or FINISH IT, but the alternative is buying a new one anyway.

Yep, you've managed to get the ctrl key jammed.

Personally I wouldnt ever put it in the bath or shower like Doomster said.

I would try tipping it up side down and shaking. As if you remove the bottom left hand corner key (or and of the corner keys) and shake the keyboard so the dirty falls that way the dirt will fall out easier then simply turning it up side down and shaking.

I would just buy a new keyboard, unless you really like your current one.
