Jukeskywaltz
So, once upon a time, a young man named Jukeskywaltz looked at his smithing level and noticed, "Hey! I'm at level 42 smithing! I'm oh so very close to being able to smith mithril arrowheads! Hoorah!" However, this young man noticed he only had 100k, and wanted to keep it. He realized that if he bought either 100 mithril, or 400 coal, and mined the other he could sell the mithril bars and make a profit while getting smithing exp! So, I'm basically asking, is it faster to mine 100 mithril or 400 coal? Obviously I'll need more than 100 bars smelted to get up 3 smithing levels, but that is really just a starting amount. Edit: Okay, I have 52 smithing, whoops. And I failed to mention I have 62 mining. Which FF Character Are You?
mchainmail
probably the mith, if you go in the hobgoblin mine in the wilderness. If you go in the chasm mine (Al Kharid) you can get some mith and some coal, then buy the rest.
fatdog16
if you can get into the mining guild, it has alot of coal and 5 mith. depending on your mining lvl and the number of people mining coal/mith, either one could be faster, but i would think coal would be faster and 1 mith(350-500 i think) is cheaper than 4 coal(600-800). also, you need 55 smithing, not 45 smithing, to smith mith arrowheads. OF course that mother is badly crazy, but I dont understand why the 22 year old girl wants to live with and have sex with the 13 year boy, just because he is lvl 126 or something?
