  1. Would it be nice if the GE had more of a Neopets or World of Warcraft style market? The seller/buyer puts it up for all the world to see, and people just decide whether or not they want to buy/sell it and react accordingly. It would also be pretty nice if you didn't have to take out the item/money and it would take it out of your bank automatically, but i get the feeling Jagex isn't gonna chance the GE all that much...
  2. I think I've had saphirre, ore, ruby, but nice find! =D>
  3. I dont know what you're talking about but you clearly don't travel much :P The destination you go to is usually so much more fun than the car/plane/boat/train/whatever ride there Ya know, I'm pretty sure he was speaking metaphorically. \ On topic, I really like quests, so I dont see what the fuss is all about. But honestly, ancient weapons of power just aren't ancient weapons of power unless you have to go through a long sidequest that usually ends up in fighting a boss way harder than the final boss, ultimately making the ancient weapon of power kinda useless. I think I had a point there, but I lost it. What I'm trying to say amist all my ramblings is its not really fair if you didn't have to do the quest for several items. For example, if you could sell ancient magicks as an item, almost everyone would be dissatisfied. Tons of people would be upset that people could make a killing selling ancients, and tons of people who did desert treasure would be upset that people who didn't have to go through all of the hardships of said quest can get the most powerfull set of spells by simply spending some cash. Life is a quest, sieze the exp!
  4. It's quite simple really. For example, lets say that every time you perform a specific action, runescape rolls a number to see if you get a random event or if you don't. One of your accounts got rather lucky and rolled the number for the mime event many, many times. The other rolled the odd eye random event quite a bit. Really, thats what I find it's all based off of. Luck. And one more thing, even if you are right and randoms are dependant on the account, they're still random. You cannot accurately predict when or where you get a random, or what random you get, correct? If your chances of getting a random are greatly improved, you still never know when you'll get it, therefore, it is a random event! Okay, last thing. I am in no way going to say that your grammar is directly related to your intelligence. Really, I think you may have a point, though that I disagree. But people are going to take you way more seriously if you use proper grammar. Trust me.
  5. So, once upon a time, a young man named Jukeskywaltz looked at his smithing level and noticed, "Hey! I'm at level 42 smithing! I'm oh so very close to being able to smith mithril arrowheads! Hoorah!" However, this young man noticed he only had 100k, and wanted to keep it. He realized that if he bought either 100 mithril, or 400 coal, and mined the other he could sell the mithril bars and make a profit while getting smithing exp! So, I'm basically asking, is it faster to mine 100 mithril or 400 coal? Obviously I'll need more than 100 bars smelted to get up 3 smithing levels, but that is really just a starting amount. Edit: Okay, I have 52 smithing, whoops. And I failed to mention I have 62 mining.
  6. This never happened to me, but there was this one lady who sued Mcdonalds because she spilled coffee in her lap and it burned her because it was hot, and Mcdonalds didn't put tthat on the label. I bet she would've sued if they had anyway. Great job, McDonalds. =D>
  7. Metal slug 2. Basically what happens is the bad guys you've been fighting the entire game (Morden's army, led by general morden) team up with aliens (The Mars People) to try and defeat you. But at the end of the Final Level, the mars people turn on Morden's army and capture General Morden, then beam up into a huge mothership you have to fight. During the battle many of Morden's Troops appear to help you out (I like that, humans teaming up against a threat to all mankind). Once you beat the boss, it isn't finished yet and charges up one final attack. The best part is, one of morden's soliders comes up in a biplane and flies in the ship's laser cannon (a la Independace Day)! The ship explodes and the day is saved! Then Morden flies out on an examination table and all of his troops cheer. Until it falls on him, squishing him flat! \
  8. This is what happens if you examine the Goblin Chef in RFD while he's...umm...indented in the wall. You remember that part? Course you do!
  9. The bartender in the bar in South Varrock knows that Runescape is a Computer game. Creepy... :ohnoes:
  10. Shilo Village Gem Mine. There's been hardly any peeps there nowadays so I can make a living! :D
  11. Well, usually in my dreams I'm standing in front of a group of people on my underwear...that IS what you meant by dream outfit right?
  12. I'm pretty sure you either need to make them or buy them from other players. Best of luck making a rune crossbow! :D As for the bolts, you can now smith them and add tips onto them.
  13. Because its more of an acomplishment if you are a low level with a sceptre. It's no big deal if a level 126 blows though and gets one because it's so easy.
  14. I have one that's hard to see. During the recipe for disaster quest while saving the goblin generals, when the chef's "food" blows up, examine him while he's on the wall. It'll say "Half way up the wall is not a naturally tenable position for a goblin."
