June 13, 200719 yr I was just scammed :cry: but this had nothing to do with stupidity.I was in someones house in yanille fighting people in the dungeon,my health was at 9 and an air blast was flying at me when all of a sudden the house owner kicks all the guests and i fall to my knees and die as normal just outside the portal....Im not too angry because i only lost bezerker helm obby set and glory.but still Imagine if I had been wearing my d legs and d med!?!?! :ohnoes:

June 14, 200719 yr You can report him. The bug had been there ever since day 1 of construction. They didn't do anything to fix it.
June 14, 200719 yr Yep.... Jagex hasn't even raised a finger to fix it. To them, it doesn't exist. What happens is the packet relaying the final hit is still en route to the server, while you are kicked out of the house. By the time it reaches the server, it goes through the death checklist, i.e. were you skulled or in protective areas, and you were no longer in a protective area, so you die and drop your items. It'd be so easy to fix, if they just added a string of code to make it where your HP is fully replenished immediately after you leave a house.
June 14, 200719 yr Author I did report the people who scammed me and the bug to jagex right away.And i posted this topic about 5 mins afterwards.and now i hear that this bug has been around since day 1....jagex really needs to do something about it before somebody loses something really big....
June 14, 200719 yr Plenty of people have lost millions to it. It seems like every day, in rants, you'll see at least one person who lost over 1m+ to that house scam or a similar one.
