What does watering your plants do?

Featured Replies

I've normally watered my plants once when I grow them, and they grow out fine, but i've seen people who water it every cycle too.

Also, I've noticed that they grow even if you don't water them,

So what is the main point of watering them?

Check me out on YouTube!

Watering them prevents them form getting diseased. So if you like to stand there to water your crops every cycle (or like watching paint dry) do NOT pay the farmer because paying him/her guarantees healthy crops.

I only water them when I don't pay farmers (tomatoes, flowers). I water them before I leave for the next patch, to give them one "disease-free"cycle. After that, they're on their own. Yes I know it, I'm hars on my plants....

Sometimes your crops can get diseased even when you water them every cycle. I once had my crops get diseased a split-second after the cycle ended, before I could get a chance to water them. Luckily I had a plant cure with me ::' .

Edit:(But I guess that was probably because I didn't water them fast enough :-k )
