Back after a break, help please

Well after a looooong break from RS ive decided to come back for a bit. But I've not played properly since well around last october timeish.

 

 

 

My stats are horrible, can't find my mains password, so am stuck with this rubbishy pure, which i won't keep pure for much longer :D !

 

 

 

Att - 61 str - 67, def 1 range 58, mage 68, mining 47, wc 36.. nothing special in other words!

 

 

 

So was looking for advise, what should i do, train at?? I want to turn this guy into a main, got around 500k left over from staking thats it. Do combat first? Get a money maker? quests? (which btw ive done next to none!

 

 

 

Was also hoping to aim at a 99 aswell,want one that can be done cheeply and quickly (ish). is hunter good?

 

 

 

Has anything fundamental changed in the game play aswell? After 9 month break n all!

99 Hunter would be a great way to start out, if you like it ;) It costs next to nothing to train (100gp or so for the traps? :P) and after 63 you can hunt red chinchompas, which sell for 700 each, and are stackable. :) I believe you make around 36m from the red chinchompas you get from getting 99 Hunter. :)

 

 

 

Even if you don't make it all the way to 99, it's still good money just getting part of the way. :) You can then spend the gp to buy better armour and train combat, or just go for another skill, it really depends on what you enjoy doing ;)

And aside from hunter, been ages since i actually did the quests, be hard to convert this pretty nooby account into a decent leveld main? Good starting point be skills, like streight 70s? Or quests?

Sorry had to get that point across. Seriously, keep it as a main for pking as well. With 1 defence, 70 attack and Ghigh str you will own and a Killing in Geepeez!

 

 

 

Anyhoo, Enough of that.

 

 

 

1) Get a money making skill up! So [sarcasm]firemaking[/sarcasm. Get something like Fishing or woodcutting.

 

(Decreasing prices are a problem though)

 

 

 

2) Add me in-game ;)

 

 

 

3) 70 range IS A MUST!

 

 

 

4) Have fun!

 

 

 

 

 

(Oh yeah, and i do realise i dont have 70 range yet, im only 1 level off it!)

1 major change for mele and combat training in general is the new minigame pest control, in which you get great xp rewards for completion of the game as well as cash,wether you decide to stay pure or get ur defence up you should definately check out pc go to w78 portsarim and the void knight / squire will take you there free of charge
