Buying a new PC

I am buying a new PC but I need help.

 

 

 

To start with my range of price is around $1,500 - $2,000 US dollars (around $3,000 AUS because I am located in Aus)

 

 

 

I'm looking for a solid gaming PC with all the good stuff. 2GB ram, 768mg graphics card (no particular brand as I have no idea) but im not sure how many ghz I should get.

 

 

 

So if you know any good PCs (not brands, because I know all the common ones like Alienware and Dell etc.)
