Drakolord7
EDIT: I found out its not a bug Close thread You can catch ferrets without bait. Just set the trap, smoke it, and wait. Its A Bug, Right? Why would you be told to use bait if you didnt need too? I am not sure if this works with chinchompas or red chinchompas Join Future Update News! darkblade986
Nope, not a bug. There are multiple factors to the success rate of catching something (Bait, Camouflage, Smoking, Distance). Bait: Adding food or something desirable for the creature Camouflage: Blending in with your environment with Hunter Gear or Robes Smoking: Using a lit torch on your trap to remove your scent Distance: Standing away from the trap to prevent scaring away the creature Having Bait will increase your chance of catching something, however it is never required. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
03hoopz03
no it wouldnt be considered a bug since on the hunter menu of box traps it doesnt list a bait used for the ferrets.. it would only effect chance of catch :P
