Ok so I have about 3.3MIL to spend on magic xp. Im currently wondering how far I could get with this money after buying runes? Im currently 53 magic. What spells and what runes?

If you want rather cheap but slow xp, try curse training.

 

Buy a mud staff (or earth staff and water runes)

 

wear any melee armour so you have a very low offensive magic bonus (-65 atleast).

 

Cast away.

 

 

 

I recommend using the mud staff because you can always sell it back after, and so you only need the body runes.

 

 

 

With mud staves at 1.5-6m and body runes at 13-15 ea, you could get up to 2.5m xp (113k casts). you would also get 1.5m+ back at the end form selling your mud staff. Please note that this is a very boring and wrist tiring way of training.

 

 

 

 

 

Another way would be alching. You could do with in conjunction with fletching, or just buy yew longs for as little as possible (550 ea gets you a profit, but most people sell for around 600 ea) Exactly how much xp this would get you would be hard, as how much you buy your nats and yew longs for changes. But i think you could easily get 1m xp.

 

 

 

There are other ways, but i think option 1 is the most cost efficient and option is 2 is more time efficient

from 53 to 90 its 80,070 alches. 5,204,528 XP. How far will 3.3mil get me?

715k exp if u use a fire staff

 

 

 

so ur at 71 mage if u assume nats are 300 ea

Maybe alch in mage arena?

 

It's (normal alch exp)+60 per cast (if you always got the right item; and sometimes you get free exp too.

 

(will take a long time tought)

 

edit: maybe first get bones to peaches, then start getting the mage outfit, sell it for more cash and start over.
