cave horrors/black mask

Featured Replies

I just wanna know, is it better having magic def or melee def against cave horrors. And what is the drop rate of black masks.

Mage def is best and from my experience killing them I would say the drop rate is about 1/150-250ish.

I've gotten about 4-5 mask drops so far.

I typically take guthans and take some sharks for emergency healing.

As for drop rates, Sk8 has been lucky I think... I've killed something in the region of 1.5k and never had a mask :(

I prefer to take a bow and use range safespots, you can stay there all day if you need to.

I have got around 4 masks and probably killed 1500 odd horrors.

Yea, it's a pretty good place to train range as well if you want some cash two.
